Friends, astrologers of note have noticed that this winter will have a conjunction that is reminiscent of March 2020 that indicates sickness around. No one expects a full on pandemic, more like a cruddy bad cold and flu season.

There's still time to stock up on things you need to enjoy a pleasant winter, but in case you get a tickle in your throat, here's my recipe for a preventative and treatment for coughs and sore throats:

In a 500ml bottle place:
2 handfuls of fresh sprigs or about 1/3-1/2 cup dry sage
4-6 sprigs of fresh thyme or 2T dried
6 dried flowers of Greek mountain tea
1T dried green tea (the Special Gunpowder variety in the boxes)

Throw them in the bottle and fill about 1/4-1/3 full with dark, unfiltered honey. Fill the rest with a tannic, as in very oakey, brandy or whiskey.

Place in a dark place and shake daily. When you shake it, bless it as well. let is sit for minimum 2 weeks, 4 weeks is better. Strain with cheese cloth or silicone, not metal wire strainer.

To use: Get a very small glass or shot glass, fill 1/4 with fresh lemon juice, then the rest with the herbal mix. Sip, knocking it back to coat the back of your throat. Works best to prevent, but also soothes if you get something.

Been using it for years, just helped the in-laws get over a bug and kept my family from getting their crud.
