I was hoping that someone could point me in the right direction. What is a good basic ( just starting and wanting to learn what the basics are.) Book for an introduction into demonolatry? Been into witchcraft for a while and it has always interested me. I would like to dip my toes in ,but I would like to learn the basics first.

A good solid starting point for modern demonolatry is The Complete Book of Demonolatry by S.Connolly. It lays out the core structure of contemporary demonolatry practice — cosmology, devotional approach, and basic ritual format in a straightforward way. Whether or not one agrees with all of its content, it clearly presents the internal logic of the current.

For historical grounding alongside that:

• Daemonologie — gives insight into early european theological views on demons and how demons were conceptualized in that period.

• Dictionnaire Infernal — a 19th-century demonological catalogue that influenced later occult systems.

Looking at older sources alongside modern practice gives useful context and helps to keep the frameworks distinct.

Yeah, any of the books by Steph Connelly are good starters - Complete Book of Daemonolatry; Daemonolatry Magick; Infernal Colapatiron; etc.
