This is a new project Ive been working on, is Techno and I think it sounds good, Ive been working on making the sounds of this track, getting inspiration from other people around the world and this is what I came up with, heavy bassline, hypnotic leads, gated choirs, good build ups, if you like EDM specially Techno I hope you give it a listen, I studied Techno production in a local school here in Mexico from people like Luis Flores who is known world wide for his crazy Techno Live Acts.

Sounds interesting! A question, is techno popular over there in Mexico? I know only the corridos like the legendary ones, Chalino Sanchez. I'm wondering how is it over there. I like the corridos, even though I can't understand the language.

Being honest with you corrido culture is not my thing, I like Heavy Metal and Electronic music, there are festivals of both and as Ive heard in mexico from other musicians the corrido culture never evolved, it stayed the same so I dont really like them, I play piano and produce on PC, trying to make it my day to day work.

That is Peak Time Techno, it suppose to be a little bit hardcore XD I also work other styles like Dark Cinematic with beautifull pianos and pad textures, maybe soon I will release something that I am cooking.

I met a Luis Flores like 7 years ago in the city of Tolokan, a guy mabe in his 50´s, long grey hair, played some live music maybe with another guy, can´t recall well, the project was Volátil or something, the guys I hung around were friends with him, I think from a local radio station, the underground edm scene I experienced in those years was heavy on minimal techno and psychedelics, I look fondly on those years because there were places to forage a myriad of medicinal plants, but the city guys were more inclined to buy than to hike so it became a solitary effort of mine. Anyways, I enjoyed that snippet quite a lot, can´t wait for the drop if that is still a thing.

Keep it up, sounds like you're going into the direction of psytrance, many great tutorials on that on youtube. Be it for basslines or glitches /synthesizer modulations.

As I'm an artistical degnerate I'm into psycore, the fastest and darkest manifestation of this genre of electronic sonic torture

Do you made this amazing psystyle kick+bass
With the Giorgio moroder bass pattern and a side chain or you draw two single notes in half of a each beat + sidechain !?
I always had problem to get this done but it never worked and I ended up using a Psy bass pattern presets from u-he Hive...

I always had problem to get this done but it never worked and I ended up using a Psy bass pattern presets from u-he Hive...

I think is 2 layer bass, I usually do a sub bass layer which is tuned (in Phase) to the kick drum, and another higher bass layer to make it sound fuller, I use free vst for Sidechain which is similar to LFO Tool by Xfer Records, the second layer of the bass also has 2 oscillators and if I am not mistaken they are on the same key but with different waves, thats a modern Peak Time Techno bass patch, is very similar to Psytrance but it has its differences, also I just checked about the Moroder bass pattern and no man, mine is more like a Psytrance bass pattern, the kick drum must be no longer than a 8th note, so the first bass note wich plays at the second 16th of the beat is in phase with the kick, and it has lower Velocity than the rest of the following notes.
