i dun fall asleep easily, i toss and turn in bed for quite long before falling asleep
does this make lucid dreaming harder for me? will the practice help?
or is it something i have to fix before trying lucid dreaming.

Hi Ongspxm,
I found to get better at working with my dreams, that keeping a journal by my bedside, as well as a pen, and to just start writing about what I was dreaming.
I also found that a technique that I think is from The Don Juan books and Carlos Castenada, to draw a black dot in the center of both of your hands, and to look at them as many times as you can during the day, and ask yourself, am I awake or am I dreaming, and the black dot in your hands tells you that you are awake, and then when you are dreaming, to try and look at your hands, and you will ask yourself the same thing; am I awake, or am I dreaming, and you will not see the black dot on your hands, and this will help trigger your awareness that you are dreaming, and make it easier for you to take control of your dream.
