There are certain grimoires of sorts, that while idealized at the time quickly lost steam especially after deaths of the authors.
A couple stand out in my mind:
The Golden Dawn by Israel Regardie
The Celtic Golden Dawn by Greer
Modern Magick by Donald Kraig.
Goetia by Crowley
Now, Greer is still alive and hopefully will be for quite some time, I listed his book as it is a related grimoire. Some like the Goetia will never lose steam.
My point? Dont discard these gems just because theyre not the latest and greatest.
