Who has the best occult writing style and why? Wilson is probably one of my favourites. Grey is also quite good. Many of the older writings even in early 20th century, I find is difficult to read. I find myself reading many books but only a consistent with a few authors. I am an avid reader and journalist. But I find my writing lacks style and I need help not with words but the story telling or way my ink jumps off the table. Any recommendations?

Well, I have read various occult books from a lot of authors. I would like to mention Dion Fortune and her Mystical Kabbalah.

For writing a great story telling, well... it is important to know how to synthesize thinks, make good summaries and also keep the content of the story-telling engaging. Authors of various books on Mythology tend to do so in a fantastic way. They tell both history and Mythology and, without giving in too much of the details, they manage to keep the atmosphere of the writing in question engaging and worth reading. I recommend taking a look into the Enead, Iliad and Odyseea for this.

For more modern mystical and occult works, I can also recommend looking into Damien Echol's works as well.
