I will start by saying, I found the great conflict of the meditation I was doing and why it evolved my mind so, but also it's price... had to find it eventually and stop fooling myself. The price for the meditation I posted in one of my journal is burning up faster your matter to increase your spirit, exchanging matter for spirit. Well, funnily enough, my intention of doing it was exactly the opposite, of getting closer to the body and synchronizing further to be a greater help and understand myself more so I can heal myself more... poor heart of mine though.

I call it the great duality. All matter is born to become spirit and spirit falls to become matter in an interchangeable state. It's like the interchangeability between radio waves in the internet and our mobile devices giving them form, image and sound. Now, matter and spirit are kind of one and the same but this weird half-separation, half-connection serves a purpose. But as to what the purpose is exactly, I don't fully know.

A great way to picture that in our being, our body, is the duality between ego - mind/spirit and body - physical/matter. The ego sees itself separate from the body and continuously tries to find a way to become immortal and separate and the body keeps the ego in check. Ego burns the body and then becomes water to fall down and nourish it, the light given off, some solidifies in the center, some goes out and spreads like waves into the world in the astral, the remaining water, or flame ash goes back to the body.

The ego, the Devil of the body and devil creator or spirit creator, not all devils are bad... but by the nature of the ego, some are made bad, the ego pays the price of separation and staring into the abyss, separation from it's origin and a longing to return. But because of the separation itself, it knows not, where to return to, but like any part of the body, it is vital to existence. We go out into the world, do our work for the world and then go back in cycles to the origin.

The ego is the light about to depart into the depths, but clinging to the source.

Matter, the body, the female part is slowly consumed by the spirit in pursuit of a greater work that actualizes both parts while the spirit is caught between guilt, guilt because it must consume it's greatest love and loneliness and a sense of betrayal because the greatest love keeps denying it. This becomes fuel for selfishness and power the ego uses to keep doing it's work, a selfishness that is both a great source of strength but also a great source of suffering and restlessness, restlessness which further accentuates the burning. In the depths of the center, the light condenses and becomes gold, the great work.

So magic, in essence, I see it now as a work of wave, the light given out by the burning candle to affect the world around and give wax back to the candle. Sadly though, we all die just like the stars that give out their light towards the end.

Therefore I see our body as both a transmitter and receiver, the mind both transmits it's light and spirit and receives it in dreams which actualize in the flesh. When the spirit falls, it fills out the flesh with water. healing it and when it rises, it rises by burning it in fire. Think of the ego as the man going out to work, longing to return back to where it came from, to where he has his children and wife, but has completely forgotten about them to be able to keep doing the good work and earn all their lives. Therefore this state of separation the ego has is necessary but also a great crux.

So, do your magic and work, but don't burn yourself out too much in the process like I did. Everything has a price, sometimes a great reversal and beginning of moderation can do far more than simply running at full speed as always. But sometimes, running is also necessary.
