This is a spell to consecrate a ring to give the user oracular powers. As such, the PGM recommends that the consecration be done as follows:
In terms of the gemstone for crafting, we have more options. The materials my personal friends have used include pure copper, lapis lazuli, turquoise, and jadeite. After all, emerald is just too expensive.
Next is the interpretation of some names. I hope it can be helpful to everyone：
1.This simple and beautiful spell is meant to give the ritualist the ability to know all about the lives of clients of any background, race or nationality, in order to better serve them with truthful oracles. In it, the ritualist consecrates a scarab ring. The scarab was the epiphany of Khepri, the solar god of the rising or morning sun.
2. It contains a clear godface: in the opening of the invocation, the ritualist identifies as THOTH, the primal Egyptian god of magic, scribes, sound, words, and sorcerous workings.
3. Some of the references in the spell can be understood as follows:
Heron: the epiphany of the sun god, the heron was known as “the soul (ba) of Ra.”
Egg of the Ibis: the ibis (and the baboon) is an epiphany of Thoth; the “egg of the Ibis” may refer to the Hermepolian creation myth wherein Thoth/Djehuty lays the World Egg.
Great Daimon / He of Noun / Subterranean: Underworld Osiris, Lord of the Dead. Also, perhaps the spirit of the Abyss itself.
Mud of Em: Uncertain, although perhaps the “mud” is the dung ball representing the sun which Khepri (the sun-scarab) rolls to the top of the hill, representing the rising sun.
Hide of Keph: Uncertain meaning, but if “Keph” is “Khepri”, the hide could be the sun scarab’s winged carapace.
Black Dog-Face: Anubis, the jackal-headed psychopomp son of Osiris and Nephthys.
Hesies: “The Praised One”, referencing Osiris. See Betz, p. 334 (re: “Esies”). h. Busiris: An Egyptian city 50 miles north of Cairo, now called Abu Sir Bana.
Fatherless Boy: Horus, who is fatherless because Seth killed Osiris. j. Pole of the Sky: The axis mundi linking the earth and heavens, around which all the spheres of creation spin.
The Breacher: ANOIXIS, “The Opening”. An ambiguous reference to a feminine disruptive power, perhaps akin to the Tauret, the mother of Osiris and Isis, whose epiphany was the hippopotamus; or perhaps the demonic soul-devouring, crocodile-lion-hippopotamus Ahemait who guarded the lake of fire wherein resided evil souls.

- Put an altar or table on a clean sheet (so that it is not touching the ground), and scatter olive twigs about its base.
- Burn incense of myrrh and kapet/kyphi on the table/altar.
- Put a salve containing essence of lilies or myrrh or cinnamon in a little clay (faience) boat that you have fashioned; put the ring in the salve that is in the boat. Put it on the altar/table.
- Leave the ring in the clay boat for three days.
- After three days, at dawn, make another incense offering to the ring as before, and then take the ring out of the salve and put it on. Anoint yourself with the cream it was in.
- Facing the sunrise, say the spell to the rising sun.
- The rite should be timed so that it occurs on either the 7th, 9th, 10th, 12th, 14th, 16th, 21st, 24th, or 25th day after the new moon.
