Before I share about my craft and studies, a little disclaimer, what conducts my craft, and a few experiences I had during this journey. Like everything, I will listen if anyone provides me with an insight, suggestion, or recommendation; however, I use my own intuition to tell me if I want to or not apply that to my life. The same principle I hope is taken by anyone who seeks my aid: if my words and craft do not resonate with you, it is alright; perhaps your path is different than mine, and that is perfectly fine.
Now, with that clear of the way, I will share what I am currently working on. Nowadays I am studying and working with the book: «Psychic Witch: A Metaphysical Guide to Meditation, Magick & Manifestation». I am trying to get more in tune with my psychic side, as well as finding my path as a witch. Aside from that, I am also trying to get more connected with my roots and the history of witchcraft and folklore of my country, so I am reading as well: «Mitologia Popular Portuguesa» which is a collection of oral literature told and passed on in Portugal's territory. I am also reading another book by the author, Alexandre Parafita, just focus on the Northeast region of my country, since part of my ancestry is from that region, and curiously, in that region there are, to this day, a lot of folk and witchcraft traditions that live on to this day.
Aside from books and research, I am trying to get more in tune with my home, to be more exact with the area around where I live, explore and register my finds with a similar innocence of a child, seeing the unseen in the mundane, collecting tokens of my explorations, tuning in with the local area and nature, and finding why this area is my home. Meanwhile, I had been trying to be more aware of the Moon Cycles, partly because of my birth sign, partly due to fascination with the Moon, but also due to its influence on the coastline. The Sea and the Moon had always intrigued me since I was a child, as well, beings and deities connected to them... I know among my guides some of them are related as well to these elements; thus, my interest in tuning more with them, so I can see clearly their messages, advice, and signs...
Last, but not least, I had been reconnecting with my cards, my oracles, my tarot cards, and curiously with my gypsy deck of cards (Lenormand); I think this attraction had been bigger ever since I went to my first Gira (it is a festive ritual ceremony that often is practised by followers of Umbanda, Candomblé, where mediums channel deities and spirit guides) and felt connected, this particular Gira was focus on gsypsies and like most of my occult and spiritual jorney, I felt something was there, so lately I am also trying to connect more with the gypsy reading, culture and folklore link with this nomade people, at least, those are my hyperfocus at the moment.
