How has working with the hours changed your practice? Have you seen any differences ?

There is a logic in all aspects that I have seen, from the egregora to the entity itself like the planets themselves

I started looking more into planetary hours and transit viewers while doing gambling (and other) experiments. I figured out that certain days, hours, months of the year, planetary placements, can be auspicious.
The thing does get very complicated when you look at the whole thing, planetary days, hours and all the conjunctions, trines, squares, sextiles. Does A cancel out B, does it or does it not? Sometimes when I looked into all that + also the moon phases, nothing made sense. Then another time everything felt perfect. There was strong energy in the air and it could be felt.
Then another good question is, what and how does all that connect with your own birth chart?

With just the hours ignoring all the other factors, yes it seemed like certain days-hours were adding boosts to the rituals.

While doing the experiments. Make sure to take notes and write down everything.(y)

This. I've had a lot of success with planetary hours, planetary weekdays and moon phases while ignoring some other astrological aspects so I wouldn't be overloaded. It's still worth it to see if there isn't some major transit happening that might screw you over and to set a proper date for a more major ritual but for the most part you can get by with the basics.

Doing more regular rituals based on those three things alone versus not doing them at all made a big difference for me when I first started experimenting.

Planetary hours are one aspect of the astrological tides. Like when you go to sea, your expedition depends on several factors. Skilled people navigate with the tides in their favor. And, for certain kinds of operations, the tides being in your favor is the only realistic choice.

You don’t need to get every single aspect of that right for it to be helpful.

Always.
I use them almost daily.
I like to check the hour I wake up in the day sometimes. Mars always has me booming.
I use them for mundane things; if I have a chunk of reading or emails, I like Mercury's hour.
I use them coinciding with planetary day for devotional and praxis work throughout the week.
I started using them years ago, and now they are part of my life scheduling!

They are special to me because they remind me to phone home (spiritually speaking), all throughout the day.

It depends on what I'm doing. Folk magic requires mainly taking into account the phases of the moon and some other factors, such as the calendar days of the week. But the making of talismans and rituals of High Magic require the obligatory use of planetary hours.
