Hello,

I’m interested in planetary remedies, especially ways of strengthening or harmonising a planetary quality that may be weakened in the natal chart, for example a planet in its fall, badly placed by house, or under difficult aspects.

What kinds of remedies do you usually use?

One approach I find very interesting is the use of talismans created under specific astrological elections. Do any of you work with this?

For example, if someone wanted to strengthen solar energy, vitality, confidence, clarity, visibility, authority, and inner centre, I would consider making a solar talisman on Sunday, the day of the Sun, during the hour of the Sun, ideally when the Sun is astrologically well placed.

For the material, one could use a solar stone such as citrine, amber, heliotrope, ruby, or another golden/bright stone. Amber and citrine feel especially solar because of their colour, warmth, brightness, and symbolic connection with light, vitality, and clarity.

I’d love to know what remedies you use: talismans, prayers, stones, herbs, colours, music, offerings, devotional practices, or practical behavioural remedies.

I agree with your example. I often do that myself for friends, family etc but also clients. I mainly use either Astrological correspondances from the Western type of Astrology but very often I utilize Daoist magic, specifically talismans constructed with the Person's BaZi (much like natal charts etc in Western astrology) combined with physical Herbs, spices, ground up crystals and Incantantions in front of a Specified altar or Configuration.


I have created an array that works for me that assists in the creation of a talisman that lasts around 59 months and needs renewal after that. In turn it either strengthens aspects or stabilises the lack of them. The array uses a combination of physical mediums such as rocks/scrystals or elixirs concocted for each element of the 5 phases to regulate, stregthen and/or balance those aspects. Then the Talisman is give to be worn or pasted on the person's bed.

I have both Benefics afflicted, and a way I use to Remedy them is doing things that would please them.

• for Venus, dressing nicely, keep myself well-groomed, and most importantly, interact with people. As kindly and respectfully as possible, but still interact (as a very solitary person, it wasn't easy at the beginning, but it worked wonders)
• for Jupiter, share as much as I reasonably can (without actually damaging myself). Pay dinner for friends. Tip, even if the service wasn't the best. Teach somebody something I once was taught too. Recommend friends for things I know they're good at. Be my friends' first customer.

For me - look at the whole chart and find any good/strong influences you can work with that 'get around' any 'blocks' .

This is a difficult thing. Usually exaltation degree talismans help, fixed stars that can somewhat substitute, diplomacy meaning talisman or petition of planet that is friends with the afflicted one, diminution is recommended to dress less in the color(s) of the afflicted planet don't eat so much stuff and don't do jobs associated with that planet. Secret Keys to Astrological Remediation. From personal experience it works somewhat, but doesn't create miracles. Honestly I think we should be looking at natal-transit charts instead of natal only, but that's far too complicated.

Ps: Most people say planetary charity doesn't work. I'm not sure because it does create a relationship with the spirit or intelligence of the planet, but it might not fix it.

Also, experienced mages say that the faces that are opposed or square to the natal malefics Mars and Saturn are said not to work by some people. I haven't experienced that so idk, but best to avoid if possible.

100% agree on this, I have learned a great deal from his channel and facebook group.

I am currently working on Warnock's course and he is into daily planetary rituals, I have an alter with coloured candles that I have dressed with things associated with planets and arranged into a heptagon around an incense and water bowl. I do a daily candle and incense lighting, short prayer or just meditate for a minute before giving thanks, I then leave the candle for another couple of minutes while I do other altar things and then I blow it out, the incense doesn't last long as I break the sticks into 3rds. If I am up during the planetary hour I will do it then, if not I do it just before 8am each day and then clock into work.

My chart doesn't have anything too badly afflicted so I can't say if its helped in that way but I do feel something different with each day during my blessing, sometimes its just a different area in my body that sort of tingles compared to another.

You can develop magical words/mantras to reposition the planets using a transit chart. So the first thing you're going to do is take your birthchart assign a letter using your magical alphabet of choice to every degree of the chart rotating counter-clockwise starting at 0 degrees Aries. You are going to find the weak position that you are trying to remedy. Let say its Sun in Aquarius.

Now you are going to find that letter at each planetary point in the Chaldean descension order. This is going to render a string. for example Ascendant = R ,G = Saturn, L = Jupiter, Mars = T, Sun = Y, Venus = A, Mercury = W, Moon = B. So here's my string RGLTYAW.

Now let's recast our birthchart but pretend the Sun is in Aries instead. We're gonna find the letter there. Lets say that letter is P. So my fixed planetary string is RGLTPAW.

So now here is how i permute the original planetary string into the sun in an exalted position. this is a permutation mantra:

You may notice this word is hard to say. It needs vowels (and this is going to be the case with most magical languages) so you treat the vowels as the base sound that is modulated by the consonants. For now you can use A-E-O-U. There are many secrets to the proper utilization of the vowel sounds contained in the Sepher Raziel HaMalach, and you can find vowel associations to the planets in the PGM, but dont worry about that until you get comfortable with the consonant permutations. This is a simplified but effective form of this technique. So here's an example transliteration...

RaaaGeeLooTuuYAW
RaaaGeeLooTuuZAW... etc etc

As you are chanting it just trace the Sun moving in position on your birth chart into the position that you'd like it. You can also use this technique combined with a talisman where you permute to the talismans location as you are consecrating the talisman in rirtual. Or do it in ritual invocation of the HGA at the correct astrological time to help adjust the connection. You may also call upon the fixed string as you would a spirit and develop it into a servitor.

Now I used the english/latin alphabet but I highly suggest to use Hebrew, Greek, or Arabic for maximum effect. This is a technique from jewish kabbalah and arabic/greek astrology. Al Buni claims that all magic is bound to astrology and the only way to get through the "time" layer/hack through timing is by weilding Simiya - or letter magic. The astral magicians of the antique world and middle ages believed that the letters themselves were the source code. And so we use them to get through the chains of the fates.
