Now, to answer O.P here:
Well, I did a "natal chart" of when Poland was formed as a country (the constitution of Poland) and it shows the following:
Let's analyze it together:
1st House (Overall Population, Institutional and Political Persona) ASC in Libra 10°44 - Libra represents diplomacy, peace treaties, alliances, and a desire to be seen as a balanced, democratic European partner. It indicates a nation whose history is deeply intertwined with international law and foreign pacts (the Iron Curtain (Communist Regimme) was dismantled in June 1989).
Midheaven (MC) (the executive power, government and national reputation) in Cancer 14°09: A Cancer MC shows a leadership style or national narrative heavily tied to patriotism, protecting the homeland, and honoring the collective memory of the nation's history. (Poland preserved nearly all of its cultural, linguistic and historical identity despite for example, having been erased for 123 years from the map and even rebuilt historical centers like Warsaw and Gdansk after 1945).
Pluto in Scorpio 17°03 (2nd House) (National wealth, banking, economic resilience): Pluto is in its home sign here, governing national wealth, banking, and economic resilience. This speaks to a dramatic economic history—periods where the economy was completely decimated (Pluto destruction) followed by intense, powerhouse renaissances and financial restructuring (Pluto rebirth). Poland suffered the Great Economic Crisis, the early insolvency crisis of the early 1980s under communist rule and the hyperinflation and transition crisis from 1989-1990. In case of the communist hyperinflation crisis, followed by the transition, the shock therapy caused a short crisis that was used to lay the foundations of modern market growth.
3rd house (Neighboring countries, borders, transit, communication networks and national places) contains the following:
Sun in Capricorn 9°14: The core vitality of the state rests heavily on its infrastructure, transit systems, and rigorous border management. It denotes a highly pragmatic, organized, and strategic approach to dealing with neighboring nations. The Congress of Gniezno (1000 AD) and the Union of Krewo are one of the few examples that can be cited here.
Mars in Sagittarius 8°54: Mars represents the military, police force, and national aggression. In Sagittarius (the ideologue) in the 3rd House, the military presence and national defense are highly focused on defending ideological borders and sovereign territory, manifesting as a sharp, outspoken stance in regional politics. The Polish-Soviet War, The Confederation of Bar, The Post WWI Conflicts as well as the conflicts from 2015 to present date are to be mentioned.
Uranus and Neptune in Capricorn 5°41 (Uranus) and 11°58 (Neptune): Uranus brings sudden border shifts, technological upgrades to infrastructure, or sudden geopolitical alignments. Neptune introduces historical ambiguity around borders, or a deep, spiritual cultural connection to the physical land. Post WWII shifts and the "Recovered Territories", The Partitions and the Romantic Era and many others perfectly fit the description.
The 4th House which stands for the land, the people and dissident movements contains the following aspects:
Moon in Aquarius 12°44’: The Moon represents the collective mood of the public. In Aquarius, the people are naturally collectivistic, independent, reform-minded, and prone to mass solidarity movements against overreaching authority (mirroring historical movements like Solidarność).
Mercury in Capricorn 25°53’ (Stationary): Mercury rules the media, intellectuals, and trade. Being stationary makes its power immense: the nation boasts a deeply serious, elite intellectual class, precise legal frameworks, and highly deliberate national rhetoric. The Polish Underground State, The May 3 Constitution of 1791 are two of the events that come to my mind now and that also fit the description.
Venus in Aquarius 6°22’ (Retrograde): Culturally, the arts, societal values, and unions undergo internal transformations. The public retains an unconventional, slightly detached but fierce sense of cultural community. The Christianization of the State which occurred in the 10th Century, The Golden Age and the Polish-Lithuanian Commonwealth, The Partitions and Romanticism as well as the Communist subjugation and the transition from it fit the reading perfectly.
Saturn in Capricorn 15°28’: Saturn rules the architecture of the state, hardships, and the elderly population. Placed in the 4th House, it shows that the very soil and housing of the country carry the weight of historical hardship, requiring the citizens to build an unbreakable internal resilience and architectural endurance. The Interwar "Manor Style" (Dworek), the Secret Urbanism of WWII, Vernacular Log and Clay traditions (Chata) and many others.
North Node in Aquarius 18°30’: The future destiny of the country lies in serving as a beacon of civil liberties, technological progress, and collective public empowerment.
Finally, the 9th House (foreign affairs, international courts, higher religion, and global trade) contains the following planetary aspects:
Jupiter in Cancer 5°21’ (Retrograde): Jupiter is highly dignified (exalted) in Cancer, meaning the country derives massive luck, spiritual backing, and moral authority from its deeply rooted traditional or religious institutions (such as the historical influence of the Church).
Chiron in Cancer 13°55’ (Retrograde): Chiron represents the collective trauma of the country. In Cancer (the motherland) in the 9th house, the nation's historical wounds are deeply tied to loss of sovereignty, displacement, or international betrayals, which ultimately shapes its modern drive to protect its borders fiercely. WWII problems, the participation in the Holocaust, and others can be added.
Based on this mundane astrology reading I did, I cannot certainly say that Polish people are condemned to be suffering, yet some events carry a lot of negative energy which unfortunately has a lot of repercussions.
