We are blamed for:

• WWII
• Holocaust
• antisemitism
• xenophobia
• Israeli-Palestinian war even with remarks like Netanyahu is Polish
• Being Catholic, even though not all Poles are Catholics, e.g. not me
• Russia's aggression towards Poland
• By population of Germany, Ukraine, Lithuania etc. that used to hate Poles

Is Poland bound to suffer? What are the mystical implications of it (I know, Polish messianism like Christ of the nations and some Poles were occultists too, like Stanisław Przybyszewski).

Ah, Czech Republic.
With Poland it's complicated, some people blame Polish people for getting invaded like a woman is getting blamed for being raped. Sad but true.
Poland has a complex history and I beg people to understand my points, even if I'm not an adherent of abrahamic religions.

Let me tell you a harsh truth from the outside.

The worst thing about Communism is that it poisons its victims (which includes Poland) with a victim mentality. This is the poison that's hardest to shake. Communism was rooted in the idea of being oppressed and that sickness is retained but without social security and Hammers and Sickles. This time though, rather than bourgeoisie at home, someone abroad (usually to the West) is blamed.

Nobody is blaming Poland for anything (well maybe Russia are but let's not go into the victim mentality there, the gaping inferiority complex dressed as moral superiority - also Russia blame Britain, Germany and France for every misfortune that Russia has to contend with which, I suppose, is easier than buying a mirror with the collapsing rouble). The truth is that most successful countries simply don't care. They're pursuing their national agendas without blaming or really thinking about anything other than what they have to. Nobody is nursing a coffee and saying "It's the Poles".

I do think your countrymen could smile a bit more though. Life is Ecstasy.

I speak to Polish people almost every day, and (as far as I know) they're among the most liked of our "new countrymen" because they work and participate in society. Never heard of Poland being blamed for anything.

Some of the beneficiaries of the terms are very likely people in your own governments who are ready to take advantage of their constituents for personal gain. This is happening all over the Western world. There are people in the USA who are fighting against AI cameras being installed in their cities, essentially creating the panopticon prison envisioned by authoritarians. City councils and police jurisdictions are being corrupted to make this possible. Of course, we in the USA are also blamed for a great many things, so we should be willing to give up our human rights for "safety". (I'm being ironic in that last sentence.)
