I am posting an extensive paper here

but the site will not allow any more . I cant even post a message to say this there . On other sites , I can just open a new box and continue any long threads as post 2 post 3 etc . here it is all merged and as soon as I add another post I am timed out for an edit , which means I cant go back to what I posted 30 seconds ago to say the article is unfinished .

perhaps all I can do is wait for another poster to 'interrupt my flow ' and comment .... then I will be allowed to make another post ?

Thanks in advance for any advice

Solution
Yes, unfortunately it's due to a combination of two issues:
  • Maximum 50,000 characters per post
  • Repeat posts get merged (only in the first 24h for Journals section, no upper limit for other sections)
Unfortunately, both of these mechanics exist for valid reasons, and as such I am not willing to change or adjust them at this point in time.

Yes, this is probably the only solution for you right now. I've gone ahead and done that for you, this time. But please keep this restriction in mind for the future.
