I hope you are well, where ever you are.

I have recently encountered blocks to my spirit magic. I am a long term insomniac, so sitting still for hours during the night comes naturally to me - hence my natural interest in magic and meditation. However, a few months after discovering enochian and goetian magic, I allowed my emotions to interfere with magic, and ever since then, I personally believe I had taken a minor demon into my personal realm after not using the appropriate cleansing and banishing spells before practicing magic.

I do not claim to be a altruistic person, but I have found it harder and harder to make good choices and be good. This is after considering normal factors in my life.

I have also the most annoying blocks to my magical life.
Constant music playing during my meditations.
Constant distractions and attention issues during magical practice. I often forget where I am or what I am doing.

And lastly, and the most evidential - after roughly 15 minutes mental prep and getting into a deeper meditation, an itch, somewhere on my face. Every night, without fail. This is always interrupting my attempts at angelic magic.

Am I just imagining things? I take responsibility for my negative actions irl, and I am OK with that.
But magically, as a novice, I am concerned about my spirit, and my spiritual practice. With all these distractions, it will be impossible at this rate to build a body of light and godform.

It's very common to have interfering thoughts that want to pull you away.
I keep saying it, but an LBRP always helps me to unwind and get "in the mood". If you're not going to (or want to) do the entire ritual, even as little as visualizing bright blue pentagrams in the corners and a circle to connect them can (and likely will) help.
