Hi everyone. What is the principle behind building a pyramid of defense? I’m an intermediate practitioner. Unfortunately, I recently came under a magical attack (though I don't know who did it). I'm currently figuring out how to strengthen my defensive layers. I'm also considering a mirror spell to reflect back any further attacks.

Thank you all in advance for your advice.

Thanks for the link. But I didn't mean a specific ritual. I was thinking more about the principle of stacking different types of protection. like general spellwork, custom sigils, physical amulets, etc.
I'm actually trying to figure out what the principles behind this kind of layering are and what else belongs in a complete setup. How do you usually stack different forms of defense?

Curse reversal should be enough, I don't know why you would "stack" defense into a pyramid. It give me this image lol:

I think excessive defense might be of an overkill lol

If you need an amulet you can go with this PGM VII. 579-90:

Other than that maybe you can make war water:

Honestly don't sweat it out and treat every situation differently, you can't really have a stack of "spells" that you gonna routinely do and it will routinely sort everything out for you. Sometime you need more protection, sometime you need invisibility spell, or reversal, etc. Don't sweat out the technique as much as your own skills/handling of the situation itself. You should assess the situation and not figure something out generic but something specifically to your work, maybe?

Thanks for the links and your perspective. Just to clarify, I didn’t mean that I was under some kind of heavy curse or that I needed a massive ritual war room. :D I simply experienced a noticeable energy drain from an external source (confirmed through divination) that managed to slip through my basic passive protections. That’s why I’m looking to reinforce my layers now. As an intuitive practitioner, I completely agree that every situation requires a different approach rather than a rigid set of rules.
War water is a great tip. I think it could work really well alongside my existing witch bottle (filled with sharp objects and thorns). I also love the idea of using invisibility spells as a form of protection. Sometimes the best defense is simply not being on the radar at all. Thanks again, I really appreciate your insights.

Understandable yeah, the biggest problem in text format is that some of the essence of conversation is lost, so I might have misunderstood you!...

If you still feel like the attack is still going so my own recommendation as a "stack" or as a path to tackle it is to (egg) cleanse, then look at it again, (bath) cleanse one more time, then look at it again, then reverse and uncross. Might be excessive but I feel like the more we cleanse, reverse, uncross, banish, etc we remove layers we don't know existed. Also strengthening your own connection your ancestors, spirit guides, saints, guardian angel, etc.

I think you can manage around it, if you already have a witch bottle then just make a new witch bottle specifically for this new attack then bury it somewhere and let it work itself out. Also anoint yourself and the witch bottle with olive oil/solar oil, I don't know WHY but I feel like that's a good addition.

Awesome write up on cleansing by @pixel_fortune :
