I haven’t been able to find a whole lot on the practical side of working with the qliphot. What would be the application for that kind of work & how would one go about it?
I’d assume the qliphot would be better for “lower magick” as in getting physical things (Money, sex, etc)
But i really dont know much about it.

Is it mostly used for shadow work or do people use it for practical sorcery as well? Working with spirits?
Would love to hear yalls thoughts
From what I can tell, the Qliphoth is just another Kabbalah but with edgy aesthetic. But I say that as an observation, I actually dont know much about it in depth so take what I say with a grain of salt.

Coming from Draconian magic, I would add that practical Qliphothic work operates on two levels: working with a particular force for a result and initiation through the force itself. On the first level, the magician draws on the current or ruler of a Qlipha for a specific purpose. On the second, the magician enters the sphere as an initiatory environment until its force can be understood, embodied and consciously directed. The two naturally overlap, because the deeper the initiation into a sphere, the more effectively its current can be used in practical magic. But getting a result from a spirit does not mean the magician has mastered the Qlipha behind it.

It helps to separate the original Kabbalistic idea from the modern Tree of Death. Qliphoth means shells or husks and they belong to the Sitra Ahra, the Other Side. They conceal divine light and depend on the sparks trapped inside them rather than possessing a completely independent source of power.
In Lurianic Kabbalah this is explained through Shevirat ha-Kelim, the Breaking of the Vessels. The vessels of Tohu, the world of chaos, were unable to contain the intensity of the divine light and shattered. Their fragments descended through the worlds while sparks of that light remained trapped within them. The parts that could not be reintegrated into the holy order became the basis and vitality of the Qliphoth.

The traditional response is birur, the sorting and elevation of those sparks, followed by tikkun, their restoration. The magician does not enter the shells to gain power from them. The goal is to release the light they are holding and and return it to divine order.

Modern Qliphothic and Draconian systems approach this differently. The Sitra Ahra is entered consciously as an initiatory reality. Chaos is not simply disorder or emptiness. It is the primordial totality that contains every possibility before those possibilities are separated, defined and limited by cosmic order. The Cosmos is formed by giving certain possibilities a fixed shape, but every act of ordering also excludes something.
What the established order rejects as impure, chaotic or unbalanced therefore still belongs to this greater field of potential. The Sitra Ahra opens the way back towards that primordial Chaos and towards powers that cannot be reached while remaining entirely within the boundaries of the created order. The point is not to worship the shell or remain in dissolution. It is to enter the shell, discover the force concealed within it and bring that force into conscious expression without becoming controlled or consumed by it. In fact that is one of the actual dangers of Qliphothic initiation: some people get consumed by a current and mistake being dragged around by it for having mastered it. The Abyss can play the same trick. You can still be sitting right in the middle of it while already giving everyone else directions to the other side.

The lower spheres already have clear practical applications. Lilith and Naamah open the Nightside of the material world and can be connected with manifestation and influence over material circumstances. Gamaliel concerns dreams, astral experience, sexuality and the hidden movements of desire. Samael dissolves inherited ideas and confronts the magician with knowledge, deception and self-deception. Aarab Zaraq works through passion, conflict, creativity and victory. In Thagirion these different forces are gathered around the Black Sun and begin to form a more complete identity and expression of the True Will. This process is also connected with Kundalini. Kundalini is understood as the inner serpent or Dragon force. Lilith is linked to the hidden side of Muladhara, where the sleeping Dragon rests. In Samael, the magician begins to gain control over this inner fire, while Thagirion and the Black Sun become centres through which the Dragon force can be consciously channelled.
The current is not only contacted as an external sphere or spirit. It must also awaken within the magician. Otherwise the work remains a series of visions and invocations without producing any real transformation.

So working with these currents strengthens dream and astral perception, makes spirit contact more direct, sharpens divination and gives invocation and evocation greater force. At the same time, the magician learns to raise, contain and direct instinctual, sexual and Qliphothic energies instead of letting them scatter or take control. Material results arise from exactly this: once the magician can consciously handle these forces and give them direction, they begin to act through ritual into the material world. They may not be the main goal of initiation, but material results are what naturally follow when the forces awakened and mastered within the magician are directed outward.

Beyond Thagirion, individual results move further into the background as the work turns towards the Abyss and the possibility of apotheosis beyond the structures of the created order. This is where the Draconian aim departs most clearly from the Lurianic idea of tikkun. Tikkun seeks to release the sparks from the shells and restore them to divine harmony, while the Draconian path enters the Sitra Ahra as a road of self-initiation that may culminate in self-deification, becoming a god.

For me, that is the real value of the Qliphoth. It takes you beneath the established order, to where forms can still be broken apart, reshaped or created from scratch. Once you learn to work from there, magic becomes less about asking for something and more about dragging a possibility out of Chaos and forcing it into form through your own will.

Also, there was a really good youtube series that talks about them in detail published by Rose Crowley, but she took all her content down for some reason and it's all gone now sadly. If anyone can find them somewhere, I highly recommend that series.

@nunaphael Regarding Rose Crowley...looks like facebook page has youtube links to those videos, but they seem to be private videos. She also advertises on fb starting patreon so probably just wants to monetize it. Also fast googling brings some Horror/Goth/Whatever adult entertainment stuff.

That's a shame. Well, turns out I actually had them saved on an old HDD so I went ahead and uploaded them to a mega folder.

I've read two books on the Qliphoth as of now. From what I understand, the key about the Qliphoth is being the seed of doubt, instead of being about truth. So the value in the Qliphoth lies in the doubt. What lacks, instead of what is already present. The cracks in the mirror, instead of the reflective part.

It's important to remember that Doubt is key to critical thinking. If you see documentaries about the work of the Satanic Temple, you'll see they're teaching critical thinking to the kids via doubt.

in Satanism, we work on paths that are related to Qlippoth. Qlippothic energy and spheres are all negattive, low vibrational spheres.. Think stuff like being super lustful, greedy, violent, vengeful, jealous, envious, destruction, destroying enemies, death, rape, murder, violence.

Most gangs are operating on Qlippothic energy.. If you want to think of Earth, Earth is the plane of existence that sits between the Qlippoth and the Tree of Life.. It is the middle ground.. the physical.

Most demons are qlippothic beings. They are not from higher realms.. they are from lower realms, where light is non existent.. Desolate places, cold, dark, decay, grey.. Not the fictional ones some of you like to play with in your Grimoires but the real ones that don't go by silly made up names and sigils.. Ones that will never let you know their real name.

In short, i would not recommend it.. If you are not initiated into orders which appease them, they will pretty much just cause destruction in your life, slowly, and before you can notice.

If you want to come in contact with the beings naturally and Qlippthic influence, join a gang, or start doing drugs, having lustful sex, with men and women, transgenders and all, maybe even animals.. start being vengeful, angery, lustful, envious, jealous, hateful, sorrowful, -- start worshipping strange deities that you dont understand, archetypes of qlippothic force, santa muerte, satan, azazel, belial, etc..

Its all pathetic! The only good use of these spheres are for those who know how to utilize them to cause destruction and more carelessness in our reality.. more low vibrational energy, more restless drug addictions and flailing around to weird music and unhealthy sexual relationships..

To answer some of what you asked : I've known people who used qlippothic influence to become great gamblers, pimps who utilized it to expand their prostitution rinks, get higher level clients, etc. Qlippothic energy used to cause death, destruction, harm.. its all pretty disgusting to me nowadays...

Uff sometimes it's better to say nothing about a matter when you clearly haven't studied it enough.
Qliphoth‍‌‍‍‌ = low vibration = evil = drugs, lust, violence, gangs idea is an extremely dualistic view. Basically, you are taking all the things which you see as immoral, degradation or destructive behavior and you are saying that they are Qliphothic.

You're totally missing the nitzotzot, the divine sparks hidden inside the shells. Its not just some space where there is no light. The spheres have their own forces, qualities and correspondences and to work with them is not to simply indulge in all the, in your opinion, sins you can think of. The work is actually about the release of these sparks.

That doesn't mean the Qliphoth can't be dangerous. Of course they can be, especially if you approach it without understanding cough cough, discipline or preparation. If you dig into your shadow and dismantle parts of your normal worldview without being able to integrate what comes up, things can get very destabilizing. The whole point is to confront what is hidden within you, break through the limitations of your current self and release the divine spark trapped within you. The energys and forces you are dealing with are not some external evil located below the Tree but also reflected within us, in the deeper and less understood parts of our own consciousness.
And further down this road you see behind the veil, where everything and nothing, every form and absence of form co exist. You draw from that chaos, because in chaos everything already exists in potential and it is from that formless source that you can bring whatever you want into creation.

And the idea that real beings are the ones without names or sigils is very interesting. I guess that Crowley, Mathers and every other occultist that ever worked with named spirits and sigils were all just deceived by fictional entities and you have somehow figured out what generations of occult practitioners have completely ‍‌‍‍‌missed.
But hey, you do you. Whatever works for you I guess. I’m not here to change your mind.
