Question about the "Three-Fold Law" in Wicca?

I am no expert on this but once I had a book about witchcraft which talked about the "Three-Fold Law" which according to the author stated that "whatever you bless - will come back to you three times" & "whatever you curse - will come back to you three times."

I don't remember the name of the author or the book (this was many years ago), but for those that practice wicca, this sounds a lot like the "Law of Attraction" that was popular a few years back.

Is the 3-fold law & the law of attraction pretty much the same thing?

Would you say that the "three-fold law" works pretty well in your life?

Never experienced that working. Sounds like useful religion to teach one manners, though.

Here's a spin which can spiral fast into "makes sense" or "wtf"
Threefold law is nothing else bun an adaptation of action and reaction.
Change the term with consequence, with karma, with what you put out is what you get back, with common sense.
You greet your neighbor, they will greet you back, you curse them and resent their way of living, they will be resentful towards you.
The 3 nature of all things in an older concept found in many cultures across time and cultural heritage.
Now, quite recently I've seen a material with a guy who speaks about the dark language, english and bless is not empowering but "be less"
In some cultures only one who can bless others is a figure of authority be it religious or parent.
In that context, bless is used to wish someone else to be less than the one casting the words, because words are powerful.
Of course can be all bs but in the circles of magic where words have power not only meaning, a deeper understanding is always welcomed.
