Hello everyone. I usually work with Goetic spirits, and it's fairly common for some demons to appear to me in dreams, or even wake me up while I'm sleeping by whispering in my ear, giving answers, and so on. (I physically feel the breath and hear the voice in my left ear.)
For some time now I've been interested in, and researching, how to work with Djinns, and I've been reading many posts on this forum. The thing is, I recently had an experience where a spirit woke me up in exactly the same way Goetic spirits have done before, whispering in my ear, and it told me its name.
I don't know any Arabic, so I told the name to a Muslim friend. The name actually has a meaning; it wasn't something random. It means something along the lines of "The one who serves while remaining vigilant at the threshold."
In fact, while I was in that half-awake state and accidentally repeated the name incorrectly, the entity immediately corrected my pronunciation.
Is this kind of experience common in Djinn practice? Should I take it as an invitation to establish contact?
