Hello everybody! I started studying the LBRP and got a few questions(maybe stupid questions, but i'm new into this).

Can i say the words in other languages besides english?
Can i just say iti n my mind or has to be loud? I live with a few people and would like to make my practices just for me and quietly.

Yes and yes.

Practice is what matters. Change of language if other one feels better is fine. Though if I remember right, LBPR is manily saying names and it is a custom not to transalte names.

You can also whisper. I whisper my banishing rites all the time. That way I hear myself, but no other human does.

Thank you very much! Waiting for my Condensend Chaos arrive to dive into head first!

I'd second whispering, even if it's an inaudible whisper. It's better practice that way. And I agree you wouldn't want to translate the names, but everything else would be perfectly fine. Also Condensed Chaos is a good place to start (y)

I'd say that repetition of all the actions is the most important with this ritual. One of the main reasons this is often taught as someone's first ritual is that is trains you to do many things, not just to visualize. Through regular practice you will improve your ability to define your own ritual space and to feel and listen to what your mind and body have to say during all other magic you might perform in the future, not just during this particular ritual. In the pre-internet days, it was not uncommon to hear about students being expected to perform the LBRP daily for as long as a year before being allowed to move on to anything else. I think for a beginner, it might be best to think of it like working out. The first few times you go to the gym, you might not really know what to do. You will probably be sloppy, but that's ok. After you keep going for a little while you get more comfortable, and eventually it becomes second nature. But I would strongly suggest trying to physically perform the ritual as closely as possible. Making the signs with your hands and whispering to yourself will be 1000x more effective than simply visualizing it.
