I did a ritual against a covert (and often not so covert) bully of many years. It was a last resort after many years of abuse from this person. Two months sailed by with no obvious results and I chalked it off as a failure and didn't think much more about it.
Then, recently, this person made an announcement that on the surface seemed like good news. At first I was surprised at the announcement as it wasn't something I expected to happen, but then didn't think much more about it.

What's amazing about this result is that we often make assumptions about results based on typical thinking, but this was interesting and unexpected path for this result to take because this announcement is good news on the surface, but will likely be devastating to this bully. But he seems blind to that now. And strangely, this result helped another person involved, which wasn't my initial intention, but it's fine with me.
