If I spend time alone with myself in quiet, for an hour, without distractions, just for an hour, asking myself what I want, but nooo, so many days wasted in my comfort zone...I could be on the top of the world
! Plans, organization, time management... underestimated skills...I do make progress though. Re - reading my journals from last year at the moment. Seeing the pattern. Noticing which type of food messes with my working memory. (energy drinks, coffee, sugar intake)
About magick - there is a manual written by a Serbian author (Maja Mandić) about the Thoth tarot - consisting of a one - year plan of working with the Tarot and it is a serious stuff - no basic keywords, real, in depth practice including the Kabbalah, and performing rituals in order to connect to the deck. It includes working with the angels. I own 3 the most popular decks now - Thoth, Rider Waite, and Tarot de Marseille.
Since I am mostly skilled in divination, I'll make working with the Tarot my goal, as my personal path to self knowing. My practice will be tied to the Tarot, and I'll use Tarot until I start breathing in Tarot. In my spells, and everything. I am a secular practitioner - I believe everything is a part of our subconscious. We all have powers, supernatural powers are real, of course.
So, from now on, this journal will be about the Tarot and my experience with meditation and dreams.
Before all of these - Sitting with myself with nothing more but pen and paper (or diary app I use), everyday. First to be aware and to accept responsibility. I am better in it by the day.
