I draw difference between religion, which is cultural and inter-human phenomena, fully material, and spirituality, which is personal experience with non-physical.

I'm spiritual, I don't have religion, or I do have very personal religion - a one member cult of the vampire me, if you wish to call it that.

5D is new-age stuff, though no problem, if you use that and it works for you, moves you towards what you seek, then it's right for you... which makes me think, what do you actually seek? How do you imagine 5D life? And how do you intent to achieve it? Sorry if the questions are annoying, but I like to learn about other people too.

Having a sincerely open approach to developing one's own way into reality (discovering the nature of your own perceptual basis) and even having an upbringing in the Pentecostal tradition might say a lot about your family life~ lucky you, Leighcia!

Digging further into the sources of the traditions that attract your attention and resonate favorably with your path could flower into a long and fruitful endeavor.❤︎

To be honest, I had to google 5D. Why not just call it 5th Dimension, and not assume everyone knows what 5D means?

It's just like when I hear 'Higher Vibrational Frequency'... never explained in any context I've ever seen. And I've seen it used a LOT.
(but, I've actually done it for years, just didn't call it that.)

Please keep that in mind, that even spiritual people might be on different paths, with different lingo and terminology that you wouldn't know, either.

I've read about the paranormal and such being described in terms of higher dimensions, but I've never read about it in a religious context. The usual metaphor is 'the bird and the frog'. The frog (us) only sees the world in two dimensions as it hops along the ground. The bird, however, can fly over everything and sees a much bigger picture. The idea is to generalise this so that the 'bird' has access to higher dimensions than we do. We see things in four dimensions (three of space and one of time) whereas the 'bird' sees in at least five dimensions to get the 'bigger picture'.

I personally think this is a useful metaphor, but should not be taken literally. For example, you would need more than five dimensions to represent the actual universe, if you were going that way.
