Remote Reiki on Etsy scam or real?

I wouldn't go for it. Etsy has problem with scammers and Ai slop they do not care about...

...unless I would know the person to be legit from somewhere reliable.

Yes amen to that. As it is known, the spiritual field is filled with a lot of people looking for easy cash. I even remember a report of somebody who confessed it on Reddit. It was down to the smallest details how he first built reputation and then started selling services, just scamming everybody. Thanks to the confirmation bias some of the customers had, it worked out perfectly for him. Maybe somebody was able to solve the issue.

There are always legitimate people out there, who, thanks to the scammers have a hard time How to find if they are legit, good question. Since some people have stated that the feedback can be faked on Etsy through some weird methods... Sometimes the good indicators : seller has a collection of materials, videos, showing his tools, work, not just one video but a lot, with enough proof to make sure he has not stolen them. Seller is willing to send you the video of him performing the ritual. In this case the video should feature enough details to prove legitimacy, else they could send you whatever.
Then again you could have a guy performing whatever, with a bunch of tools, equipment, putting together a show for your entertainment.

Any remote spiritual thing in etsy is apsolutely always a scam. Dont trust them, dont give them your money. You could do it yourself for free.

As far as I understand, reiki settings are about creating a resonance between the Master and the student. The same way a musical instrument is tuned using a tuning fork. The same thing applies to shaktipat in yoga. Personal presence is required. Therefore, any correspondence settings are a scam.

I should have added this to my message earlier, not everything spiritual online is a scam. I don't know about Etsy though. I'd probably never buy anything except for handcrafted items or clothes from there.

Another place filled with rather weird providers is Reddit. People having their friends create reviews, then their own alt accounts.

I've never ordered any services by reiki practitioners but back in the day I had some services done by Jewish rabbi's, remotely. I found some people online. At least one of them read service texts for me at the Western Wall.
When the services were done, I felt massive amounts of energy entering me and there was a profound ecstatic high lasting for days. I felt energy first coming like balls of light.
Over time I requested for a few more services from others and the effects were similar. I can't remember the reason why exactly I needed the services but the effects were wild. I did verify everything before, not through any random weird sites.

Hell no. You can heal yourself with your own work, and keep the money.
