Resin, Smoke, and Ritual: An Embodied Practitioner’s Guide to Sacred Aromatics began as an idea for a practical WizardForums tutorial about resins and their ritual uses.
The original question seemed simple: Which resin should a practitioner use, and why?
The deeper I went, the less satisfactory the usual correspondence-list approach became. The project expanded into a large working reference covering material identity, quality, heat, dose, aroma, physiology, historical use, practitioner observation, ritual interpretation, blending, sequencing, substitution, and the practical role incense can serve in spirit work.
The book is designed to help practitioners understand what they are actually burning, what happens when it is heated, which claims are supported by evidence, what has been historically documented, and where interpretation or personal experience begins.
It is not a book of universal prescriptions. It is a practical map intended to support better judgment, clearer testing, and more deliberate ritual work.
