With everything going on, this might be seen as pretty minor. But here's some more of this shit, from the enlightened citadel known as Iowa:

Library bookmobiles would be barred from school property and the bill prohibits schools from letting students use school IDs to access books and other materials from public libraries. During a subcommittee hearing, Katherine Bogaards with a group called “Protect My Innocence” said the bill is needed to stop Iowa schools from going around a state law that bans school libraries from having books with sexually explicit content.

“It closes the loopholes and ensures schools remain accountable to parents, accountable to the taxpayer, transparent to the public, and compliant with the law,” she said.

Republican Representative Brooke Boden of Indianola said the bill reinforces the 2023 law she and other legislators passed after learning kids and teens were able to check out books with graphic sexual content from some school libraries. “Reading is so important, but we also don’t want our kids reading literature that they’re going to need counseling for for the rest of their lives either ,” Boden said during last night’s House Education Committee meeting.

When you look at the lists, they are just radical BS and total nonsense. If they find one book with questionable content, it is used to ban other books in the mayhem. These other books have no content that was ever considered graphic sexual content. It is basically just about anything some slanted and perverted religious belief is worried about, and forcing that narrow-mind on everyone else and their children so they can continue to claim power over everyone else's lives. OMG, that book was written by a Democrat, burn it. This is what we are dealing with.
And, as I said before, the Internet has way more content to worry about. I want them to take it to that level, just ban the Internet and see how that works out for your slanted belief system and popularity.

My thoughts and beliefs on this subject are simply that the rest of the world is not responsible for policing what your children are doing, or reading. Banning things so you don't have to be a parent and face your own responsibility is a problem in the USA. The TV has channels and parental controls, use them if you don't want your children to see things. The Internet is not your babysitter, and content will not change for you or your religions. You have to do your own parenting, and stop making it everyone else's problem. America is a diverse country with many different religions and beliefs, and nobody should cater to your backwards nonsense and force your chastity or puritan nonsense on the rest of society.
