Peace. It is an honor to have you here. It has been long time since I've read the Kolbrin Bible last time. Kolbrin is strange collection of texts, that is of questionable origins. It is sold by publisher that sells it alongside some Planet X books claiming that this is also a book about Planet X or Nibiru. In the book it is called the Destroyer. However I was quite surpised by this claim because I've read the text bedfore reading this descryption and it was wrong. The book felt like a collection of texts similar to the Bible indeed. Laws, myths, channeled message, alternative version of Gilgamesh story... That kind of stuff. It might be genuine collection jsut as much as a fraud. But if it is a fraud, it is a good one.
The most important in my eyes is the text The voice of god. This is supposed to be message channeled by three people who wrote it down and found out they they all recieved the same text. I found it to be of value.
The topic of this video is when rituals do not work. The text definitely includes this situation. You offer something on altar but recieve nothing in return. Your request is not fulfilled. Why?
Before I continue, I have to say that I do not want to blame anyone for their misfortune. Nor do I want to say that it is their fault. Hardships happen and I do not intent to mock anyone about it.
I watched a fascinating video of former pagan girl who had great misfortune in her family, some really big problems. The way she tried to solve them? She kept praying to a godess at the altar and kept giving her offerings. To her disapointment nothing happened. The deity did nothing, no matter how much offerings were offered. Cheap or costly, nothing happened. Things didn't get better.
I don't know everything about that situation. Far from it in fact. But one thing is clear to me. If all you do about situation is to pray and make offerings, in fact, you offer nothing of value, even it your offerings cost you your monthly wage, it can mean absolutely nothing to the spirits.
To explain this situation I'll get out of my own understanding f the occult for the moment. I beleive that all spirits are autonomous being but for the moment imagine that the spirits are aspects of your mind, they are part of you. In that moment when you are offering a food to a deity to do something for you, you are offering to your own spiritual self to do something that you do not want to do yourself. Crazy? Yeah. Do you expect to fool yourself, your own higher self that you want to get a job but all you do for it is to sit by the altar, offer food and pray?
I agree with the person who said that gods are going to help those who are going to help themselves. Whether you consider spirits part of your own psyche or as independent beings, it doesn't change that you need to do your own part. Spiritual world is not main player that manipulates humans around you as they wish. They are support team that can help you in doing your own work, but they cannot do your work instead of you. True, they can help you, even a big time, but you still have to walk the path, because that is the point. It's not about them showing off how powerful they are. The gods are not servants you can bribe with offerings. They won't do your bidding just because. That is what television is for, for you to sit on your ass and watch as the game is played without you moving a finger.
So to the example I mentioned before, the girl just doing offerings did nothing and expected godess to do everything. Of course it didn't work. I don't know if she had wrong information or if she just hoped that it will work so she has to do nothing else. I don't know.
Concerning the offerings, Kolbrin poins out very truly that they do not profit the gods in any way. When you burn something it simply burns. When you leave offering in the temple, be it food or the money, it doesn't profit the gods, it profits the priests.
A little detail here, I did burning offerings on one long ritual, but offerings were very small and were not meant to make the spirit to do any bidding for me. It was a gift.
But to the offerings, especialy of money, the temples are obliged to redistribute them to the people in need. But how that goes is no secret. Some time back, I don't know if you heard of it, don't know when you listen to this video, there was a social experiment with a girl that was faking a situation of mother having starving baby and saking churches if they could give her single baby formula. Most churches refused. So to who do you give your offerings? It matters, actualy. By helping others right you inevitably end helping yourself as well. If you do it wrong, you are doing wrong to yourself too. Why is it so hard for people to offer their moeny tot he poor directly?
The answer is sad. It is because they want to buy a favor from god with that money, not to help people they dislike. But here is the catch. You have been lied to. If you beleive that giving to rich temples or churches helps god or makes you more favorable in the eyes of your god, you are wrong. It's simply not true. Even god profits more from you helping the poor person than from you making rich people richer.
You cannot simply buy favors from god or gods. You cannot buy their work in your favor. But you can deserve it. You can help other people, bring them joy or ease their lot a little bit... or if you dislike them... I'm really far from being human lover, you can work on yourself and at least be person of honor, one who keeps their word, one who does no harm. One who seeks to improve themselves, the skills, heath, the mind, the art.
So, if you are doing offerings, I hope that I got you some food for the thought so that you can now ask: Why are you doing the offerings? Are you doing them for the right reasons, expressing what you intent to do... or are you trying to bribe the spirits or gods so that you don't have to somesthing to get it done?
Hmmm? Be honest. Which is it?
