Hello! Hi! Hail and well met!
I almost can’t believe I’m doing this. I feel like I browsed through so many forum sites like this one when I was a kid, I’m shocked that any are still around. Glad to see there are still folks dedicated to keeping the flame alive.
A bit about me: I’m a Jewish postgrad who’s always had a little bit of a fascination with everything magical, supernatural, or occult. However, I’ve always been put off from actually dipping my toes into any sort of craft by the fact that so much of it seems to deal with spirit or god worship, which feels like a line I’m just not willing to cross given my firm roots in Judaism and monotheism. I guess I’m just here to do some research on occult practices that mesh well with my religious beliefs (Kabbalah, sure, but everything beyond that too!) and just learn more about a subject which has always fascinated me!
Thanks for reading, if you got this far. I’m excited to be here!

That’s how it starts, I was a diehard Christian when I first joined this forum.

I may conjure spirits and work with little g gods but my roots in Abrahamism are incredibly strong. There is no power greater than HaShem my friend and there is definitely space for you within the occult and magic. So many great wizards of our tradition were Christians, Moslems, and Jews themselves! I understand your apprehension, I experienced the same thing during my early years and spent so much time as an armchair occultist because of the influence of insitutional Abrahamism on me. However, HaShem is calling and speaking to us through everything. He calls some of us down this path, and ultimately, it's to bring us closer to Him so that we may live in His Will. Hold on to your roots, love your foundation and religion! But listen for what HaShem wants from you and discern that from what men of dogma and doctrine want from you.
