[Opinion] Samael or Khamael

Hi, esteemed members of this community, today I have a question that has been making me wonder for quite some time, do you prefer Samael or Khamael as the preferred archangel for Mars? I know both have their own traditions and background, and I was wondering if there is some form of discernment regarding their evocations, or do you prefer to choose one of them based on how they match your energy and stick to that choice?

I don’t think there has to be one “right” choice. /
When working with Mars, I’d focus more on who actually answers.
The distinction matters, since Samael and Khamael may have different names or faces.
In the end, though, I’d trust the experience more than the label.

I always considered Hermetic planetary associations a bit contrieved and lacking in external mythological consistency.
Michael is the warrior angel, Mars is the warrior god (oversimplifying for brevity). I don't know how is that not most natural that they're facets of the same spiritual domain. Not to come off as too critical, it's just an alternative tradition.
