WIthin the LHP I feel that Saturn seems to be primarily perceived in 2 ways. On the one hand, you have the "Saturnine current", in which Saturn is the chief deity that people work with. Saturn is the main if not entire focus. The engagement with Saturn is tied to black magic and Saturnine gnosis revolves around death, limitations, karma and the material world. "the Cult of the Black Cube" is perhaps the most well-known grimoire on the matter though it is far from the only one.

On the other hand, in some currents like the anti-cosmic or Draconian one in which the practitioner seeks to transcend their cosmic and mortal constraints, Saturn is a limiting force. Saturn is the demiurge, the gatekeeper of material existence, whose reality is a prison for our primordial-chaotic spirits. Saturn's influence is to be overcome rather than utilised.

What do you think? What is your experience with Saturn? When I first got into the LHP I was very drawn to the Saturnine current but I ended up pursuing Draconian magic which as I mentioned does not work with Saturn at all, But my interest in Saturn and Saturnian magic still runs deep.

Coming into form and existence , Saturn is the 'gate' and womb . Transcending , Saturn does not hinder but is the actual process of 'breaking apart ' . Saturn forms the egg , Saturn cracks the egg so new life on a new level is liberated .

I would suggest studying your Kabbalah and astrology more .

Saturn is also BInah - 'The Great Sea' and the 'Gate of life and death ' and can be attributed to a feminine energy .
