Seeking Recommendation Seeking Book Recommendations on Hekhalot Practice

I’m looking for good book recommendations on Hekhalot practice, especially anything that offers an actual practical framework for working with the Palaces. I’m interested both in serious academic studies and in books that help bridge the gap between historical material and usable spiritual practice. If anyone knows a solid source on Hekhalot / Hekhalot Rabbati / Merkavah mysticism with some practical value, I’d really appreciate the recommendations.

Sepher Chaye Olam Haba - Abraham Abulafia
the practice itself is a combination of this with ecstatic or dream practices, if you can perform Abulafia's techniques you can then go into things like the Shiur Qomah and Sepher Raziel HaMalach and understand how to practice it from there. Abulafia (and Aryeh Kaplans commentary of Sepher Yetzirah if you're really really beginning) is the practical technique. Sepher Raziel HaMalach provides the keys that need to be given and the architectures of the Hekhalot, but it will make no sense until you get the permutation/meditative practices down. This in turn will unlock whats happening with the permutations in the old merkevah/hekhalot texts like the Shiur Qomah.
