I don't know, man. Shit's just real weird right now and all my self-preservation instincts keep telling me to connect with like-minded people, exchange information and perspective, and learn as much as I can about the world as it stands right now. Hoping I can find that here. Bonus points if there are any former GATE (not TAG or G&T) students that I can connect with, as I've recently had to start therapy to discuss how there was something very strange about that curriculum, particularly with the elementary school portions. Every other community I find that has some sort of dedicated section for GATE-related discussion ultimately became a breeding ground for conspiracy theorists and also just people who were very obviously not in any sort of accelerated learning program in school. I'm not interested in any of that; really just wanting to find my people and try to learn as much as I can about what I experienced as a kid.
