So, here I am. 51 years old, psycholigist with deep interest and knowledge in esoterism, magic, witchcraft, paganism and the occult, both as a practitioner and from an academic perspective. Saldy, I have no PhD in Religious Sciences or Religious Studies, since the first one is non-existant in my country and the second one is usually available in Catholic universities, so...
Anyway, I am currently researching --and writing– on the origin and development of Satanism in Colombia, for a historiographic paper on the subject and the "Colombian Satanic Panic" that sweeped the country between 1995-2005. It is of particular interest to me, since I lived through it and I have been able to find first-hand documents handed to me by practitioners of the "local" variety of Satanism, a mixture between Crowley's ceremonial magic and fierce anti-christian prose, LaVeyan Satanism and Luciferian vibes.
You can be sure I will be sharing some of my work in the proper forum.
