How much do you communicate with the spirit in the real world? Or do you communicate more in your dreams?

My results have definitely been more noticeable in the real world through simple coin flip divination and sometimes a thought in my head that stands out a bit as not from me and gives me a feeling of encouragement. I have asked them to come into my dreams and teach me stuff there but unfortunately most just still have stuff happening based on my real life worries. I wish I wouldn't dream about not knowing where my classes are in high school and instead get special meditation/summoning techniques.
