[Help] Strange Dream

Not sure if this is the right place but i need help understanding this dream

i was in some kind of old temple with symbols all over the walls, not any language i know. there was something there with me but i couldnt see it properly. it felt like it was watching me the whole time

i heard a voice but it wasnt really sound, more like inside my head, repeating a word or name i cant remember now. thats the part thats really bothering me

my hands didnt look like mine either, they looked older. and the symbols on the walls started shifting like they were trying to form something i should understand but couldnt

then i woke up suddenly, heart racing, and the word was gone

this didnt feel like a normal dream. does anyone here know what this could mean...

Sounds like you were dream walking somewhere, whether you were drawn there on purpose or by accident.
Please do tell us if you remember the word, or can recall any of the symbols.
Seeing your hands is a great thing, so great job there.
I might recommend looking up ancient temples with wall markings and scanning over those images to see if anything rings true.

To try to jog my memory of something I go in a list. So maybe to remember the name try to go through the entire alphabet and check each letter to see what letter it started with. Then that could be enough to help remember the name.

For the old temple was it in a desert like area? A rainforest? A mountain? Plains? The environment can help narrow down what the temple was and what language was.

Maybe go through a bunch of ancient languages and see if any fit. Or maybe just languages in general. Thats my recommendation to help determine the meaning. As someone already suggest might have to do some research on your own to find the meaning.
