I've been having 5 to 7 odd dreams nightly that are very real feeling & seem to last forever am I going crazy & does anyone else dream this much...
For what it's worth, popcorn and many seeds and nuts also have about the same amount of L-tryptophan as turkey, gram for gram.I had some pretty vivid dreams after all the turkey I ate during the holidays. This is an AI summary from a Brave search:
L-tryptophan, an essential amino acid, can influence sleep and dream patterns by serving as a precursor to serotonin and subsequently melatonin, hormones involved in regulating sleep and mood.
Turkey meat contains L-tryptophan. It's popular to debunk "myths" for click-bait articles nowadays, so a typical web search will cite "science" claiming that eating turkey isn't the actual cause of altered sleep patterns or vivid dreams. Correlation does not equal causation, but it does seem like there is a correlation between eating turkey and having vivid dreams for enough people to create a popular "myth" even if the facts are disputed. The fact that you posted this topic at this time seemed to be an interesting coincidence.
before bed take a moment to talk/think to yourself/ your subconscious and tell it what you want from it while you sleep. it doesn't always respond especially if you don't have a strong connection with it like some do but it will listen. ask it questions about why you're having these dreams, ask it to show you why during your sleep, tell it you want them to stop if that's what you want. dreams are most often than not your subconscious mind communicating and it often speaks in symbols. it's up to you to decipher and decode what your subconscious is saying to you.I've been having 5 to 7 odd dreams nightly that are very real feeling & seem to last forever am I going crazy & does anyone else dream this much...
