Hey all, I'm sooooo excited that this kind of website exists!!! I thought I was alone all by myself in the pursuit of the somewhat different nature of the world. I found totally this by accident trying to download another magick book to try to fill up my collection of 5000 occult books from alchemy to witchcraft, and just found where book requests are (sitting right where I didn't notice before). I've been studying chinese and indian energy books Tai Chi, Mo Pai, and chakras. Hope to find like-minded souls so we can further one anothers' knowledge in all things occult!!!

Most definitely not! I'm a hoarder, it's a good thing these are pdf's otherwise I'd have a house full of books gathering dust... I've been collecting and hoarding books the past few years trying to fill out collections on what I thought I know about magick/energy/religion, but the more I look, the more the field widens. I'm sure I read barely .5% of it. My interest is mainly in the hindu/buddhist chakra activations, and there's some overlapping with a few chinese energy arts. I learned basics of energy flow meditation when I was a kid from my aunt, but I had no idea there's so many different ways of applications for it for different purposes in different cultures. Hermeticism, crystals, manifestation, money magick is very fascinating to me. I have not even begun to touch the area of spells, which is a real eyeopener as folks here seem very advanced in all sorts of matters I'm currently in the dark of! I seem to have just scratched the tip of the iceberg.

When it comes to magic and digital hoarding, lol, I must admit that I have a lot of things in the Bookmarks section of my account which... uh... let's say that they have been sitting there for quite some time.

Back on topic, since you are interested in learning about Chakra activation, I can already give you some tips:

1. Chakra activation needs to be done by treating each of the corresponding chakra pairs accordingly (Masculine / + and Feminine / -), positive and negative. This is done in order to harmoniously allign the energies, else it can be really dangerous if not.
2. Chakras need to be cleaned before energetic activation. The worst thing that one can do is activate their chakras when there is energetic dirt of them.
3. Chakras are tricky. I say this in the sense of imbalances. Most people think that chakra imbalances are meaning an inactive chakra, leading to various unwanted effects spiritually, psychologically and even physiological at times. However, remember that imbalances can often be indicated by an over-active chakra (if one has an over-active Solar / Manipura chakra, they may be way too driven by their ego and be victims to pride).

As for religions, well, I can say that I am in the same situation as you as even though I grasped a lot of things, I still feel that there are a lot of things to discover.

At least you have where to search for what you need, right? Spiritual energy, by the way, isn't even a universally applied concept, only one branch of a greater tree of knowledge. I honestly almost never deal with energy manipulation myself.

Yes yes yes!! Thank you so much for jumping right to the point and clarifying some fuzzy areas I wasn't clear on!!! That does confirm quite a lot of what I've read, which is just cursory zooming through 10 out of the 150 books I have on the topic. I did read the masculine & feminine (yang & yin) energies need to rise from the root chakra as an intertwining pair of energy up the spine to each chakra. And I understand lots of people have trauma or pains that accumulate in certain chakras, and cleaning it is critical to raise the energy to it. I get that overactive/underactive imbalances occur and I see the resulting effects on people, but I haven't even thought about it to balance it. The 7 chakras are probably the last area I'm going to approach because I'm just halfway through reading Mo Pai explanation of the body's 3 physical (dantien) energy cores. So the theory goes, once these physical energy cores are trained, then activating the 7 spiritual chakras becomes easier.

Yes I was collecting everything to try to figure out what I think I needed, then I could started learning it. I figured now is as good a time as any. So I'm especially elated that I came across this website just when I was hoping I can figure some of this stuff out. I found there's a whole other thing of kabbalah - so more reading once I'm done with the books I'm on. Maybe I might read up to 1% of the books soon. hah! What are your areas of interest?
