A Kabbalistic angel suggested that I use The Fool tarot card as a talisman to restart my love life and, more importantly, to cut ties with a troublesome past filled with problems, disappointments, and unhealthy patterns.

However, I now see that this process may not culminate in a new relationship until April of next year. In the meantime, all potential partners have drifted away, almost as if the old chapter had to be completely cleared before something new could begin.

I would appreciate any suggestions or perspectives on how to interpret this process. Could The Fool be indicating not simply a new beginning, but a complete break with the past and a period of freedom before a new relationship manifests?

Greetings.

Greetings and Universal salutations!

Yes, there is the necessity of a new beginning and clearing of the past in order for something true to blossom, just like how you would clean old / damaged soil to plant a tree and see it grow outstandingly.

I would interpret this process you are going through as a positive and necessary step that you should follow for eventually allowing the change you desire.

Remember one very important thing: Change is something that needs to be earned, not something that comes from idleness and passivity.

I suggest continuously praying to the Kabbalistic Angel of love (Jeliel, I suppose), and let him guide your soul through this restorative journey.

May the Universe bless you

Greetings and blessed be the journey.

Well, the Fool, like all cards of the Major Arcana, is part of one great story. The Fool represents both the beginning and the end of this journey, and with that, an infinite level of possibilities. If the Kabbalistic Angel of Love suggested carrying the Fool as a talisman, I believe they are setting you on a journey: the journey of self-discovery, healing, and shadow work before stepping into the new path. After all, when it comes to the craft, the Fool is followed by the Magician, and he carries all the relics of the four suits, so he is complete; he has mastered the four elements and is ready to take action. I believe the same applies to your journey; even though it is a path for love, it means you need to heal and find yourself, purging what does not belong to you, what should be left behind, studying the lessons that you have learned from this event, and when you finally integrate those lessons, you will be ready for the next chapter.

And as @Aeternus said, keep praying to the Kabbalistic Angel; they will show you the path and what lessons you still need to master to have your heart ready for this new love. May the road to that goal be gentle on you.

As the saying goes, we need to confront our shadows in order to reach the light, the mystical North Star, the Light at the end of the Tunnel :).

Amazing interpretation by the way, which clearly shows that The Fool card is not a fool at all
