I am in awe of the speed and goodness of Bune. For a brief background, my life has been a string of bad luck since October 2025. It has included a violent assault on me, a very difficult 1st trimester and subsequent traumatic abortion that went wrong (I decided to terminate due to incredibly severe, lifelong mental health issues that I’m convinced would have led to postpartum psychosis, please don’t judge me), a string of unexpected animal related incidents that have seriously affected me because I am an animal lover and have an excellent professional reputation within the livestock and pet industries in 2 countries, major financial difficulty and unemployment issues, family health issues requiring hospitalizations, my marriage being in a very difficult place, and quite a bit more.
We also recently lost our mouser, a wonderful working cat who has been keeping our small farm free of pests longer than we’ve owned the property. He had been missing for 9 days, which is something that has never happened with us or his previous owners. That just really messed with me and put me at my breaking point.
Today, Friday, at the start of the hour of Venus, I decided to listen to Bune’s Enn and spoke to him from a place of sincerity and honesty. I requested his aid to clear the bad luck from my life and lives of my loved ones and balance the scales back in our favour so that good luck may replace the bad. I told him that I am not a broken person but I need the aid of a more powerful entity. This was my first true act within the realm of demonolatry, though I have been researching quite a while. I have a 15+ year background in ritualistic forms of polytheism, so such an informal prayer is highly unusual for me.
Within the half hour, while it was still the hour of Venus, our neighbours came to the door with our beloved cat, healthy and fat. Experience has taught me that there is no such thing as coincidence and I just knew Bune has begun reversing the run of bad luck that has plagued me since October. He is so good to have made the return of our cat his first act of kindness - I’m shocked at the speed of it. I am the kind of person who fears to presume too much but I have this gut feeling that more blessings will be coming.
This public praise is part of my gratitude to Bune. I will continue to update as needed.
