This technique relaxes you and can be used not only to help with psychic ability before a session, but can also be used before bed as you fall asleep to help promote lucid dreaming and astral projection. The best part of this technique is that it’s made to assist with problem-solving on a deep subconscious level to help remove more stress from your life.

Sit comfortably, close your eyes, and begin with the Preliminary Focus exercise. Take a deep breath and, as you exhale, release any tension or stress from your body. Imagine time slowing down, allowing you to become more aware of your inner self while the outside world fades into the background.

Visualize a golden treasure chest appearing before you. It unlocks and opens, revealing a small whirlwind inside. Mentally review your day from morning until now. Whenever you notice a stressful or upsetting moment, focus on it briefly, inhale deeply, and as you exhale imagine the stress leaving your body like a cloud.

See this cloud carrying your thoughts, emotions, anxiety, and tension into the whirlwind and into the treasure chest. Acknowledge that you are letting it go for now. Continue until you feel you have released all the stress from the day.

When finished, imagine opening the chest once more. The stress inside has transformed into solutions and clarity, radiating outward like a rainbow of light surrounding you. Feel calm, grounded, and confident in your ability to handle life’s challenges. Finally, see the treasure chest gently close and lock.
