So, I was reading in the Stellas Daemonum, and it described the image of Lucifer as a fair young boy who's face gets red when he's mad.

I looked this up, and saw up to two more references to this idea. I can understand this image representing youth and purity. Actually, I've often felt his brand of enlightenment to be more linked to adolescence. The red face thing seems rather arbitrary, though.

But I also saw an excerpt where he describes himself with these evil epithets, like terror of Asia. Only to then offer help when he's done.

I'm a little confused why his depictions seem to be so contradictory. What exactly is he, and what function does he play? And I mean in a classic gtimioric stance. Not an lhp stance.

Why is he portrayed as both this rebellious figure, while the texts hint that he serves a function in the divine order? Why would he give himself dark titles, before offering to help?

And also, if his youthful appearance means he can bestow youth, I'm interested.

He's known as the book of pain, his sacrifice is that he's experienced the suffering of the human condition exhaustively. Inferno is an archive space that contain narratives in the form of energies. You have all the levels containing the record of all the sins in the universe and then lake cocytos are all the bad energies (feelings) Lucifers ever felt through his various incarnations. He becomes the ultimate healer because of it.

The amount of epithets comes from the high volume of narratives in his complex story (carrying the chest in the behemoth music video inner sanctum). Being a rebel about divine order makes me think of Jesus flipping tables. If the religious authority start taking things in a wrong direction then you become lucifer, rebellion to restore divine order.

Restoring youth brings to mind the rosicrucians quest for an elixir of youth. The red face makes me think of him popping up center-point in the new mk-ultra and them making him internally scream at people over the psychic and electronic mental communications with the piano so he can be a leader.
