[Opinion] The power of Agares and Andromalius, or their Shem counterparts power to bring back runaways or thieves

What is it about these two, other than potentially mental torment that has them make runaway folks return?
The reason I ask is not to make someone come back to me or get stolen stuff returned, it's for a more noble purpose.
I will be working with Shem angels, but do not recall the Shem names very well.
Working on knowing them.
I'm starting to know how to conjure them.
But what I really want to know is the psychology of is having runaways return.
Obviously there must be a safe place for the runaways to return to, and must find what they lost in the process.
So what is the psychology behind this phenomenon?
