There are a plethora of different theories and viewpoints regarding the historicity/reality/symbol of Christ. This one, however...IMHO this one takes the prize. Whether or not it is true is, ultimately, irrelevant. The tremendous amount of scholarship and new perspectives contained this book are, at the very least, worth a look.
