I'm curious what are your experiences with this pentacle if you don't mind sharing it guys.

Thy only time I've used it and it worked was when I was trying to attract someone who has my same interests and it worked but I regret doing that cause it didn't attract the best person, I used the consecration method in Baal Kadmon's book but without candles.

I prefer the First Pentacle of Mercury, which I have one hung up on the wall at the desk I am currently sitting at typing this, amongst other pentacles.

All the pentacles of Mercury work around the air of intelligence, communication, mobility or travel, ideas, imagination, business, etc. They are of the sphere of Hod on the Kabbalistic Tree of Life and have various god names, angel names and spirits associated them.

While I don't have experiences with the specific pentacle you mentioned, -- All pentacles don't just have power in them as is.. You have to activate their intent.. and its usually not just a simple process.. It's a big ritual process in consecrating, activating and charging a pentacle. I would say it's a three-fold process. Many believe you should do it while fasted and at least a week abstaining from entertainment, sex, idle talk, etc.. I believe it has more to do with how much magickal power you have as a magician. -- but regardless, I usually take a week in preparation to create a proper talisman.. Because afterall, it has to be done on a certain day, ceertain planetary hour.. In this case, a Wednesday.. The intent is built upon ahead o time in preparation so that .. when you perform the ritual--you are not focusing on what the intent should be, it should already be ready to infuse into the pentacle.

I usually don't share how I Do things because I had to be initiated in circles where these secrets were guarded an things were taught to you on a hierarchical basis. However, theres always more than 1 way to skin a cat-- meaning theres severals of ways people consecrate, activate and charge pentacles.

What may be helpful to you is me explaning what those things are:
Consecration: This simply clears an object, item, thing of any previous or held energies or intentions.. It purifies and prepares the thing to be then infused with energy and intention.
Activation: This awakens the intended purpose of said thing, whether pentacle, talisman, etc It brings the dormant thing into an active energetic/ working state.
Charging: This is basically the act of filling that object/thing with energy for it to work.. This is where you put your INTENTION into what you want it to achieve for you..In this state you are connecting the purpose of the pentacle with your desired outcome.

For consecrating, people will burn oils, prepare rituals, leave things out in moonlight or sunlight, perform prayers, read verses from books of power, etc.
For activating, similar thing.. but usually related to the nature of magickal elements that correspond with what the thing represents.
For Charging: Theres so many ways to charge something with energy-- but first you just have to bring up that energy, whether you perform rituals of harnessing or harvesting energy, play tribal drums, evoke certain powerful emotions, chant mantras, perform kundalini yoga, etc-- The idea is you draw energy and direct it into the object/thing.

Yeah it means thinking about what is the pentacle effectively being used for. Visualization is definitely one way to help charge it with intention.. It also helps to write out what it is you want to help you with or why you are creating or using it.. Sitting and thinking about this greatly helps with the intention.. In preparation leading up to the rituals of consecration/activation and charging.. you also ponder on it .. Thats why during those times you want to abstain from entertainment, receiving information of any kind, speaking to people, idle talk, and it helps to be fasted.. However, you don't need to spend a week on the intention-- it just helps to really think about it and think about what you also dont want the intention to be. Some people like to infuse the intention during activation process.. because they can then focus on building energy to charge it with in other ways.. I like to come back to it after the consecration and the activation.. and then really focus on the intention and charge the intention into it before then charging it with more ethereal energy.
