For starters uses only the Major Arcana. The visual form of the Split Hexagram is two triangles with a card in the center between the two apex points of the triangles.
The upper triangle is the Spiritual area, with two influences and a piece of advice. It is a water triangle.
The card in the middle is the final outcome.
The lower triangle is the Practical area, with two influences and a piece of advice. It is a fire triangle.
Looking at it on the physical body, the water upper triangle would be the shoulders/lungs and heart; while the practical would be the hips/legs and the Solar Plexus, with the final outcome between the two points.
The advice must be followed both spiritually and practically to gain the final outcome.
Laid out linearly is simply seven cards in one row, starting with the Greater Spiritual Advice, then Lesser Spiritual Influence, Spiritual Advice, Unconscious Desires, Conscious Desires, Practical Advice, and finally Final Outcome.
Process:
Ask question silently in head or out loud with mouth.
Shuffle cards well, three to four times. Lay the deck on the table.
Split it into two piles, placing the upper stack to the left of the lower stack.
Split each side of cards into two more stacks, placing the upper stack to the left of the lower stack.
From the rightmost stack, pick up the deck, place the next under it and so on while saying Yod Heh Vav Heh, in reference to the four letter name standing over the four stacks.
Deal the cards either visually or linearly.
Ponder, analyze and journal.
