For Quite a while now I've transitioned away from the Abrahamic paradigm. It's pretty much Graeco-Egyptian and "Empty Hand" now. Sometimes you want a slight bit of an energetic charge to get you out the door. This compact rite below that I offer here will do just that! It's also very easy to redact for your own taste as well. I hope it proves as useful to you as it has to me! N.B. The Clearer the Visualization here, the more effective this rite will be.
Rite of Opening: The STELLAR (Equal Armed) CROSS (in Vernacular):
Face East or... the direction your Ingenium may direct!
Visualize a line of White Light streaming from Above out of Infinite Space,
and it becomes Concentrated just Above the top of your head, it's very
Intense like a White Sparkler, or Burning Magnesium.
With the first two fingers of your dominant hand, or your athame/dagger
touch the brilliant light, and draw it to your your Third Eye, which then
blazes forth into a ball of Light.
Vibrate the word, “HERE!”
Then touching your Heart, the Light bursts into another Ball of Light
forming a Line going Downwards into Infinity.
Vibrate the word, “NOW!”
Touch your Right Shoulder and gesture out to the South, the light goes out
into Infinity.
Vibrate the word, “STRENGTH!”
Touch your Left Shoulder, and the Line comes through your Center, and
gesture out to the North, and the Line goes out into Infinity.
Vibrate the word, “GRACE!”
Place your hands Palms together at your Heart, fingers pointed up, or...,
Hold the athame/dagger between your palms at your Heart, Point Up, and
imagine the White Light forming a Ball at your Solar Plexus.
Vibrate the word, “WITHIN!”
Then pushing your Palms Forward, the Line of Light streams forth both
Forwards, and Backwards into Infinity, to the East and West Simultaneously.
Vibrate the word, “WITHOUT!”
"SO MOTE IT BE!"
This concludes THE STELLAR CROSS!
It may be used to Good Effect on it's Own Merit, or used as an Opening / Closing for a larger subsequent rite! The only "enhancement" perhaps useful here for those who might want it would be the Colors visualized for the centers on the Cross, I sometimes use them, often not though, as the Intense White is Powerful.
****** Opening Preparation for a Larger Working ******
Focus for at least 1-2 minutes. The Celebrant/s may declare the Intent for the forth coming circle / rite.
Casting the Circle/Sphere: (Brief example outline)
<Insert Method of Choice Here!>
Draw a circle round, and see a Sphere of transparent light expand around, above and below the circle, imagine your voice echoing out along those planes you've created in the rite above, out to the limits of time and space.
Declaim: “I cast this circle round, may the power be raised and the power be bound!"
