Would it be good form or bad form to post Frabato the Magician: An Occult Novel to the Library/Book Shares section? I have found the book mentioned, but haven't yet found it individually shared. I ask because I found a copy and am reading it, but know little about the overall situation beyond that Bardon is a politically controversial figure associated with fascism, and the novel is derived from Bardon's notes, and written by his secretary and one other. Any answer is fine, even if not couched in the good/bad binary above. Thank you!

I was fairly sure Bardon was associated in the sense that he was victimized by the fascist regime, not that he was a fascist himself. But I probably should leave it at that before it becomes off topic.

That's the first time I've ever heard of Bardon having been associated with fascism but we even have works by Julius Evola here who closely collaborated with the SS and for whom even Mussolini was too soft. He still has his fans so his books weren't pulled, as much as I loathe him.

Posting fiction is ok as long as it's demonstrably significant for occultism or has been written by occult authors in order to get their teachings across. "Man, you gotta check this out, it'll blow your mind!", however, isn't enough. Some guy once posted a book about surrealism, claiming that is was mind-expanding and whatnot - no, sorry, such books don't belong here, and that also goes for sci-fi and fantasy novel.

I'm more than glad you mentioned and clarified Bardon vs. Evola because I inadvertently conflated the two--Good Grief!
