I wanted to ask about traditional English or Italian magic. Do you recommend any books or study orders, etc., for an apprentice who admires the path

Usually in the British Isles the closest will be the covens of Gardner and Celtic traditions, if you are referring globally (English) there are from Wica to neo-paganism. Italian witchcraft itself carries a lot of Catholicism and folklore, even the differentiation in families, in this case the hereditary tradition

Rodtigo, have you tried Melusine Draco's series on BTW, or some of the books on the East Anglian Trad. Witchcraft survivals. I believe some are in the book share forums, here.

There are a number of non-Wiccan English witchcraft practitioners, and books about their practices. Michael Howard's book "Children of Cain" provides a good overview of this branch of witchcraft, its history and development.

Gemma Gary is another modern practitioner who has written a number of excellent books on the topic.

You'll find other books about traditional English witchcraft practices published through Troy Books in the UK.

Seconding Gemma Gary and Troy Books for trad English witchcraft, and Cunning Folk and Familiar Spirits by Emma Wilby provides a good historical overview.

Mary-Grace Fahrun has written a book on Italian folk magic I have heard positive things about! Nigel G. Pearson, Nigel Jackson, Roger J Horne are probably worth looking into as well, for "general" trad craft. I also liked Besom, Stang, and Sword by Tara Maguire and Christopher Orapello.

Gardnerian isn't really Traditional witchcraft. Would echo recommendations above to check out Troy Books. Also check out Andrew Chumbley books - hard to find, but you can get pdf's online Azoetia is complicated but interesting. Also look at Peter Hamilton Giles books (Atramentous Press).

I can strongly suhhest the book Borax by Douglas Kincaid (and other, unpublished works of him, if you can find them). And Robin Artissons works.
