[Opinion] Underrated (lesser known?) aspects of Folk-spiritual practise?

I have been doing a lot of research into folk practises of Baltic Europe, branched out from there into Poland, some Dutch, a little bit of German, etc. So while I have found quite a few interesting gems and also seen how many cultures are quite similar is fundamental aspects (the milky way being a road for the spirits of the dead, the world tree, etc), I would love to know if anyone has any thoughts or opinions on folk culture from their own homelands that they feel is lesser known or underrated.
