[Opinion] Use of menstrual blood

according to the bible , menstruation is a punishment bestowed on to women on behalf of eve's actions by God. So maybe, certainly feels that way sometimes

I know Bible says blood, but it doesn't say menstrual blood. In the mater of Eve it speaks about bloodline, not menstruation.

I will put in my 2 cents, Yes I will say definitely you can use menstrual blood as a female not as a male though. in my family I would hear it referred to as (Uisce gealaí and Acqua lunare which translates to Lunar/Moon water) I seen it used in spells and rituals for fertility and prosperity by the women in my family of course. Now I agree strongly with the sexual energy in the blood. And that's what makes this blood much more powerful as it has this extra energy component that regular blood does not. So as I had stated I have seen the women of my family use this blood and I have watched them use it for darker purposes as well.

I'm not a biologist, but the uterus prepare for making a child, and menstruation occurs because the woman does not get pregnant, isn't that? I mean no sexism

Sometimes it can be quite likely, not everyone here has English as mother language. Guess that the debate turned far away from me asking a question on this post, whether woman is punished with menstruation:

I just thought about something. The menstrual blood comes because the woman "refuses" to fulfill the role of having a baby, she refuses doing what nature want humans to mainly do. I think menstruation blood can have a lot of meaning of the woman's will, if you look this way.

Anyway I doubt that anyone can convince me that menstrual blood is more than a waste. Though I must say that it is interesting to see what people can do with it in their own magic systems.

Certainly some Demiurge type stuff if approached this way. I can't speak for the women I've been with on menstrual pain being useful, cause it really can be a true handicap in the daily - But usually most things related to growth are related to some form of pain.

Also what I've heard many women having the most intense pain on their periods are supposed to have way smoother births.

I guess it was approached completely different years ago (we can't forget many of us are speaking totally from the western standpoint that's also not a proven view for anything). Women used to have children way earlier, life spans were shorter and the earlier(of course with common sense) the first pregnancy, the less complicated the following ones.

Maybe it's more like a micro-cosmos of life in relation to the moon - the life cycle of the moon related to the emotional side of creation,
like this current forming the psyche in a way, conditioning the growing human in his instincts etc.

Blood is pretty interesting itself, representing the 'fiery metallurgy' that is chthonic, but also makes it more electrically conductive so to speak, a potent medium for transportation of energy.

My answer is no. In my opinion it's a waste that body ejects like a shit or piss, and it's just as dirty. It comes out completely without will of the woman that bleeds. I assume that it ruins the ability of that blood to be vesel for the will of the person using it, especially if it is the woman herself. Opening your skin to draw blood, causing the pain intentionally in order to gain it... I think it's quite different.

Menstrual blood can be extremely useful for both men and women.
As AlfrunGrima said, it is not just regenerative as in stem cells, it also has the lunar energy.
It is tied into the very basic fabric and rhythm of life, especially with the ocean tides.
Think of it like the marriage of human and ocean/the planet.

In the same way our brains and intravenous blood is linked to the environment, so menstrual blood can be used for rituals of summoning, and especially 'nightside' or lunar forces.

The view of it as 'dirty' is a 'newer' concept from Abrahamic religion and largely Judaism . They are obsessed with keeping the feminine controlled and down by the male side.

Newer forms of spiritual thought seek to balance the forces and see both as useful.
